Mike, This is a hard thng to swallow considering how you trained. I allong with the rest of the UFC World can not count the score the same as the judges. I had Bisping 30 and Silva 29. I am no pro but it is plain to see. Just a thought Mike. It makes so much sense for you to re-match him as soon as possible brother. Like your next fight. Hello Mike, Unlucky on the fight. I did think you won, Silva didnt give much until the end of the second and third round where the judges just gave it to him, even though he did not do much else in the round. Joe Rogan is such a dick, he must get told who to favour! i prefer watching the fight with out him. I watched the countdown show, it was not untill the last four mins that they actually mentioned you properly! In your next fight your get the KO, i think they will match you up with nate marquardt, more power punches! you can do it!
I just watched the fight for yet the 20th time and i cannot help myself thinking just about everything was bent about the decision. Round 1,Mike you clearly won,Round 2 old big lips was busier then the first but i still think you won it clearly enough. Round 3 i thought you done enough again to win the round even with the "slogging" of old big lips. Not knocking the man and i clearly do not have the bottle to do your business so please accept my ignorance. Big lips looked a state at the end of the fight,where as your knackered in all of your fights at the end even when you have won it due to the sheer effort you have put in(not knocking you mate ). The commentating by Joe Rogan and the other chap never complimented you on your work throughout the fight,Any playback was all big lips and not once did it show you bashing him up. This i am sure influenced the judges .

You were pretty nervous in the fight so go there , train with him and you will get your confidence back . Wanderlei does some hard sparring and I think the best way for you to get your confidence back is to go and train and spar with him . Show yourself that you are better than you were in your last fight! Your sparring looked great on Australia blog 16/2/2010 . If you were performing even 50% of that , wanderlei would have been dominated ! IM SURE YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF . supporting from finland!
I know you like to stand and trade punches with your opponent but i personnaly think your ground game is very under rated and could easily become your strength.
I would rate your ground and pound very highly and working with Tito on TUF obviously has paid dividends in this area. I think you would stand a better chance in fights if you tried take guys down to the ground more often and ground and pound. Your a fighter who doesnt like to sit in the guard, which is good as its hard to defend if your jumping into guard then standing up and back into guard.
Tito is great at working in the guard and your ability to do this is great too.
Only my opinion Mike, but Wanderlei has great knock out power, so take down, ground and pound may be the ticket.

Now, to get down to the Denis Kang fight: Sure you got caught in the first round, but if you hadn't of, we'd never had been able to see just how excellent your ground game is when on your back. You did a magnificent job. In the second round, it appeared to me that you were an angry man on a mission. That was a pleasant view. I was so glad to see your facial expression. Then to do what you did to Kang was one great feat. He is no joke, as you may very well know. So to do what you did, it definitely cemented your name in the annals of the UFC.
I always supported your efforts, no matter what any one else might have said about you. In my eyes, you represent the UK to the utmost. So have many of the other UK fighters. Remember, you started it. You and Ross Pointon. You came out ahead in that race, though.

It really doesn't matter if a few people don't like you, Michael, because I am here to watch you fight, not for your personality. They should follow the same objectives, although I like your personality. I think you are very cool.
Now, to get down to the Denis Kang fight: Sure you got caught in the first round, but if you hadn't of, we'd never had been able to see just how excellent your ground game is when on your back. You did a magnificent job. In the second round, it appeared to me that you were an angry man on a mission. That was a pleasant view. I was so glad to see your facial expression. Then to do what you did to Kang was one great feat. He is no joke, as you may very well know. So to do what you did, it definitely cemented your name in the annals of the UFC.
I always supported your efforts, no matter what any one else might have said about you. In my eyes, you represent the UK to the utmost. So have many of the other UK fighters. Remember, you started it. You and Ross Pointon. You came out ahead in that race, though.

You came back and fought like the champion that you are mate. I was up on my feet throwing air-punches as I willed you to finish Kang off. My hands were red raw through clapping, and I also needed half and hour to sit down and recover after you did it ha ha ha.I nearly started crying when you hugged Callum at the end...and I'm a bloke ha ha.
